Born and still residing in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Julia has always had a passion for animals and her knowledge of the animal form coupled with her attention to detail results in stunning creations that hold a realism rarely seen.
“Having been around animals all my life, you really do realise that they have their own character and personality and accurately capturing their form and their expression is very important to me, whether that be in an oil painting, a deer head, or giving a new lease of life to an old rocking horse”
Julia has received commissions from all over the world including the Governor of the Bahamas, owners of horses in training with Martin Pipe, David Loder, Pat Eddery and Jenny Pitman, the former Chef d’Equipe of the British Show Jumping team, previous British team members and has also featured in Country Living and Sporting Gun magazine.
Whether it be a textile taxidermy deer, an oil painting of your horse or dog or a renovated rocking horse to hand down through the generations, you can be assured that they will leap to life!
